Pre-launch we worked with Kopari’s founders to build out their brand personality, brand voice, product naming, and messaging to introduce Kopari as a flirty, confident, youthful brand.
Testing revealed the brand personality resonated with Kopari’s audience in a big way. To fuel their explosive growth, we accelerated marketing efforts for new product launches, digital ads, social content, seasonal stories, and brand campaigns. In its first two years Kopari’s rapid expansion grew global distribution in thousands of retailers worldwide.

What started as a small copywriting project turned into a long-term strategic partnership. During their first year in market, Kopari saw so much success in DTC, Sephora raced to be the first to launch them in retail.
Significant investments from L Catterton and Unilever Ventures accelerated Kopari’s early growth. Additional celebrity investors include Karlie Kloss, Shay Mitchell, Hilary Duff, Mila Kunis, and Ashton Kutcher.
“Good Skincare Gets Compliments” Brand Campaign
The insight: Women are not very good at taking compliments. For Kopari’s brand campaign we shot a series of comedic spots that highlight an important truth about self doubt. Kopari encourages women to accept compliments with confidence and feel more comfortable in their own skin.
